Need ideas for your party?
If you are unsure of what you want for your party, we can give you some fun party ideas to help your event be a HUGE SUCCESS! We look forward to hearing from you.

Here are a few general ideas with regards to child party planning as well as age group specific party planning tips.

General Child Party Planning

Start planning the party a few weeks in advance. Encourage your child to give his/her input (if he/she is old enough) Your resources (time, energy and money) determine the size and extent of the party.

Decide on a party venue. Inside your house or in the garden, in the garage or around the pool. It's not a clever idea to have energetic and excited kids running around in your house if you have fragile ornaments and expensive furniture. You could use one room as the party room, and remove everything fragile and valuable. Apart from the bathroom and the party room the remainder of the house is out of bounds.

Decide on the number of guests your child may invite. This is determined by your budget, the size of your house and the number of kids that you can cope with. This could cause some conflict as your child would most probably want to invite everyone he/she knows. You will have to draw the line - the more kids, the more chaos! If you can handle it - sure, but you have been warned!

Determine the sequence of events: games, crafts, prezzies, eating and drinking, reading a story etc. What happens when? Allow your child to give his/her input.

If your child is old enough try to involve him/her as much as possible. Let he/she read through our perfect party game ideas and perfect party craft ideas and choose the ones he/she likes. Involve him/her in making the invitations.

Remember that a simple party with a few very nice games to play and a couple of interesting crafts could be very successful. If the hostess is relaxed everyone tends to enjoy things a lot more.
